For most of my life I felt like a Barbie trapped in a box.
I collected beautiful expensive perfect dolls for years….and would never ever consider taking them out of boxes where they could be in the real world and possibly lose their luster and perfection.
I never realized that they symbolized something deeply held in me — that I was only of value when I was sexy, beautiful, perfect, wanted, desired….
No healing journey is ever complete but I have embraced tantra, movement/exercise, daily chakra alignment and deep intuitive listening to continually remind myself of my inner self worth and validation.
My daily practices help me connect to my own empowerment, self love, acceptance and self forgiveness.
The healing journey is never over
I have had a challenging relationship with my body to say the least. I battle several ongoing health issues and have never had a trusting relationship with my body. Working with Vanessa, I have been able to actually feel connected to my body and spirit. During our sessions, I felt pure unconditional, maternal love through her hands, presence and words. I have never felt that before in my life, and it was lovely to experience that in a safe, nurturing environment.
