Movement & Coaching Session:
Typically these are done virtually on the phone. We will both be walking outside (in nature, in your local park etc). These are done as a follow up and supplement to our face to face body work. So we will discuss post session feelings or emotions – what feels stuck, what still needs to move, how to get there. We may do a breathing exercise or a brief centering meditation. The intention is to emotionally support your next life steps – and the energetic movement that came up in your prior session.
Chakra Alignment, Yoga and Meditation Session:
This session will involve moving through and balancing all your 7 chakras (energy centers) through breath, meditation and yoga asana (postures) that are individual to you and your needs in that moment. You will need to dress comfortably in clothes you can easily move in. I have an extra yoga mat but you are welcome to bring your own.
Personalized yoga asana session:
This type of session is designed for someone who may be new to yoga or is experiencing a physical challenge or recovery process and would benefit from personalized yoga postures with individual attention and hands on adjustments. This work does also help move emotions. A personalized practice plan may be given.
Reiki Session:
In a reiki session, you will be lying down on a flat surface – generally, you will begin face up and then move to face down (if time allows). For shorter reiki sessions, you may be face up only or sitting down. You will be fully clothed. You can keep socks on. You may choose to have a blanket covering you. Your eyes will be closed. There may be soft music playing or it may be quiet. You are encouraged to breathe normally and pay attention to your breath and body. You may or may not feel the energy shift. You may or may not feel emotions come up that correspond to the movement of energy in your body. You may fall asleep! Generally, individuals report feeling more relaxed afterward. If you are in need of rest, this is a great treatment for you.
Tantric Healing Session:
In a tantric healing session, you will begin in a robe (preferably something soft that feels good on your skin like satin or silk). A sarong or towel can also work. You’ll begin face to face with your practitioner sitting and meeting at eye level to connect and set intentions. While each session is unique, it will begin with breath practice. You will likely be lying down but it depends on the treatment and modality used. We may move around or use various positions or orientations.
Preparation
Be sure you have completed (and submitted) your intake form and made your payment. Please arrive showered and in regular clothes. Be sure you have had water and a meal or snack within the last 2 hours. Give yourself enough time to arrive so you are not feeling rushed or anxious. Bring a robe. Be thinking or reflecting on what you want your intention for the session to be.
Post session:
Please allocate some time afterward for decompression and processing. It is not recommended to dive right into another activity immediately following a session.
Additionally, following a session, you may experience fatigue, a feeling of detox (headaches/nausea/diarrhea), emotional release (crying or other), heightened emotions, a feeling of euphoria, a feeling of relief, mental clarity, a jolt of energy or other physical, emotional or spiritual experiences.
Your practitioner will reach out to you within 48 hours of treatment to check in with you. If you need support prior to that, please reach out sooner. She may connect with you via phone or text for up to 15 min without charge and at her discretion. Additional support may be provided for an additional fee.
